Zurab Margvelashvili, the managing partner of Tbilgvino declares, that the company is working to enter new markets and focuses on the USA, Great Britain, Germany, South Korea and Canada.
"Tbilgvino is represented in about 30 countries, but now, we focus on the USA, Great Britain, Germany, Canada, and South Korea. It is time for the world to recognize Georgia as the most competitive and powerful winemaker", - Zurab Margvelashvili noted, adding that the work on the awareness of the wine produced by "Tbilvino" in Great Britain and Germany has already started.
It should be noted that the company owns vineyards on the land area of 400 ha, from which it processes the harvested crop, and also buys grapes for wine production from other winegrowers. This year, the company plans to purchase an additional 3,000 tons of grapes from winegrowers with GEL 5 million.
The chief winemaker of "Tbilvino" Zviad Dolidze positively evaluates the 2024 vintage and notes that this year there is a quality and surplus harvest in Kakheti.
"We have a wide choice for winemakers and winegrowers to select high-quality grapes for making high-quality wine. Both winemakers and winegrower consultants are involved with us in this process, and together with them we create a wine that will be interesting for both local and international market consumers", - noted the winemaker of "Tbilvino".
