The Armenian government discusses three major investment projects

On June 7, under the leadership of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the sixth meeting of the Investment Committee was held, according to the press service of the Armenian government.

During the meeting, state investment program projects were presented, including the construction of a metro station in the Ajapnyak district of Yerevan, the modernization of the Yerevan Metro, the creation of modern standard courts, and a scientific-experimental center.

Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan reported that the metro station project in Ajapnyak includes the construction of a 1500-meter line and a 150-meter metro bridge. The plan also includes the purchase of new cars and the modernization of metro systems.

Discussions focused on traffic management and the socio-economic impacts of the projects. The Prime Minister emphasized that the projects would be approved after an economic feasibility analysis.

Justice Minister Grigor Minasyan presented the project for modern standard courts, developed in cooperation with international partners. The project aims to improve conditions in court buildings and increase the efficiency of the judicial system.

The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of establishing standards to form proper attitudes towards the court and the parties involved. The project was approved by the committee members.

President of the National Academy of Sciences Ashot Saghyan presented a project for the creation of a scientific-experimental center for preclinical research. The goal of the project is to establish a Preclinical Research Center and a research cluster to develop pharmaceuticals.

The Prime Minister instructed to explore the possibilities of implementing the project in collaboration with the private sector and to conduct a professional assessment. These initiatives aim to develop infrastructure, improve the judicial system, and support scientific research in Armenia.
