The total volume of auctions for the placement of government bonds conducted on the Armenian Stock Exchange in May amounted to 43 billion drams (over 110 million dollars), while the total volume of exchange transactions on the secondary market of government bonds for this period exceeded 935 million drams (almost 240 thousand dollars).
In May 2024, the volume of trading in corporate bonds increased by 21.12% compared to the same period last year and amounted to over 521 billion drams (over 1.3 billion dollars). The volume of transactions with corporate bonds reached over 3.8 billion drams (over 9.7 million dollars), which is 9% more than in the same period the previous year.
The total volume of REPO transactions amounted to over 3.6 billion drams (over 9.2 million dollars), which exceeds the May indicator of the previous year by 95%.
Also in May 2024, the volume of stock trading amounted to over 183 million drams (almost 470 thousand dollars), exceeding the indicator for the same period last year by 16%.
