"Takara" is the first Georgian restaurant that started operating at Kutaisi International Airport. The facility is located on the second floor of the departure hall and is the first a la carte restaurant in the airport, which offers guests a wide selection of Georgian dishes. The general manager of the restaurant, Nina Benashvili, spoke about Takara in TV-program "Women's Narrative".
"Our restaurant is designed for airport passengers, and one of its goals is to promote Georgian dishes among foreign tourists. Exclusively only in "Takara" it is possible for anyone to taste the brand of Georgian non-alcoholic drinks, "Laghidze Waters". Passengers will be able to order individual dishes from the menu, which the chef will prepare for them in the shortest possible time. Also, take advantage of the so-called with take away service", - said Nina Benashvili.
Restaurant "Takara" was officially opened on February 14. The investment made for the opening reaches one million GEL. At this stage, the restaurant employs about 40 locals.
"Prior to the official opening, our restaurant has been operating in Kutaisi International Airport since December 2, 2023 in a test mode. We are constantly in observation mode, we listen to our customers, we take into account their opinion," said Nina Benashvili.
According to her, this is the first facility of "Takara", although the company is planning to expand, and the next facility of "Takara" will probably be opened in Ajara in the near future.
