Parliamentary minority deputy Roman Gotsiridze says, that the International Monetary Fund's "dismay" means that the IMF program will be closed in Georgia, which will reduce the investment attractiveness of the country. He told this to the journalists after the meeting of the Financial and Budget Committee of the Parliament.

According to his statement, the overcoming of the veto on the draft law on the National Bank by the President of Georgia on February 23 implies the formation of a financial clan in the NBG from the side of the Parliament.

"When the government of Georgia, attacks our international partners, Western countries, makes anti-Western statements and creates a pro-Russian political group in the parliament, as well as attacks on the financial institutions such as the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and many others, in fact, we can say that they are consciously going to the confrontation and there is a doubt that this government really does not want to join the European Union", said Gotsiridze.

According to the opposition deputy, the ruling power will not support the candidacy presented by the president in the parliament and this process will take time.
