MP Roman Gotsiridze declares, that the draft budget published by the Ministry of Finance for 2025 exactly repeats the government's approaches of the past years and is tailored to the financial interests of the ruling party.
Roman Gotsiridze singled out two directions, which are highlighted in the draft budget. According to the MP, they serve only to attract voters.
"This is the same budget, with its approaches, as it was in recent years. It is a senseless waste of billions, tailored to the political and financial interests of the "Georgian Dream". It can be said that a large amount of money from this budget is spent to serve the interests of the Georgian Dream.
In the first document of the Ministry of Finance, the emphasis is only on the social part, and they think that this introduction will attract the voters to the pre-elections. But in reality there is a shameful thing hidden behind it: the pension increases by 20 GEL. As a result of economic growth and inflation, it turns out that the increase will be less than 20 GEL. If the pension increases at this rate, it will reach the targeted 1000 GEL after 30 years.
The second thing that stands out from the document is that the grants have been halved. But if sanctions are imposed on the country, everything will stop from the USA and the European Union", Roman Gotsiridze says.
