On Monday, May 13, Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan met with representatives of the World Bank Arman Vatyan and Khuram Farooq to discuss the progress of programs implemented jointly with the bank.

Projects initiated within the framework of this cooperation are aimed at reforms in public administration with a focus on digitizing services provided to citizens.

Mayor Avinyan noted that digital and intellectual transformations are priorities for the urban community, helping to address current challenges and keep pace with modernity.

Representatives of the World Bank expressed readiness to translate cooperation programs into practical reality in accordance with the priorities defined by the urban community.

Special attention was paid to the "Active Citizen" application, recently launched, and the Geographic Information System (GIS), which make urban services more accessible, transparent, and logical for the residents of Yerevan.

Also discussed was the need for the World Bank's support in further localizing electronic services and incorporating mechanisms for internal monitoring and feedback.
