Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline carried 23 million tons of oil to the global market in 9M2023. This is 1 million tons more than the same period last year.
According to a report published by BP, this oil was loaded into 238 tankers at the Ceyhan terminal and delivered to international buyers.
BP also publishes information on the load on the South Caucasus pipeline system. According to the report, during the three quarters of 2023, the load of the South Caucasian pipeline system increased and amounted to 16.6 billion cubic meters. This is 1.2 billion cubic meters more than the same period last year. Through the pipeline, 60.5 million cubic meters of natural gas was transported daily to Turkey and the EU market.
In the same period last year, the daily load of the pipeline was 56.1 million cubic meters.
The shareholders of the South Caucasian pipeline are: bp (29.99%), SGC (21.02%), LUKOIL (19.99%), TPAO (19.00%) and NICO (10.0%).
The Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Pipeline Company (BTC Co.) shareholders are: bp (30.10%), SOCAR (25.00%), MOL (8.90%), Equinor (8.71%), TPAO (6.53%), Eni (5.00%), TotalEnergies (5.00%), ITOCHU (3.40%), INPEX (2.50%), ExxonMobil (2.50%) and ONGCVidesh (2.36%).
