We are pleased to announce that after an 8-month period of in-depth evaluation and investigation, the National Environmental Agency has officially issued an environmental decision for the Batumi Two Peninsulas/One Island Project.

The National Environmental Agency conducted a thorough review and determined that the project proposed by "Ambassadori Batumi Island" fully complies with Georgia's environmental legislation and international standards.

Furthermore, it is important to note that the project will not impact neighboring facilities, including the marine terminal for oil products operated by LLC "Terminal 1." This matter was carefully evaluated with the involvement of the Maritime Transport Agency, and the results confirm the project's complete safety and compliance with national regulations.

It is crucial to highlight that the project area does not represent a critical habitat for any species in the aquatic biological environment, and therefore, irreversible impacts on the species in this area are not expected. According to expert studies, within five to ten years, it will be possible to minimize the impact and restore conditions close to natural.

It is noteworthy that the project employs environmentally clean, natural materials, specifically inert substances and stones, which require no processing. The natural stones selected for constructing coastal protection structures serve as excellent substrates for aquatic organisms, creating favorable habitats for ichthyofauna.

As is known, the project area has been historically contaminated with oil products, and the project includes provisions for cleaning the area (submerging part of the underwater slope beneath the artificially created land and permanently sealing it, while another part will be removed and cleaned in accordance with current legislation). The project also envisions the creation of environmentally clean beaches and recreational spaces.

The Ambassadori Batumi Island project represents a distinct and unique conceptual vision for real estate development that significantly contributes to Georgia's economy and the qualitative improvement of the socio-economic conditions of the local community:

Territorial Expansion: We are pleased to share that upon the project's completion, the territory will expand by 102 hectares, and the existing coastline will increase from 1.2 km to 3.6 km. This is particularly important given the erosion processes occurring on the southwest coast of Batumi.

Shared Achievement: This historic project is not only a success for the Ambassadori Group but also, first and foremost, an inspiring collective victory for society, state institutions, and the hundreds of individuals involved. We are happy that talented people and forward-thinking organizations continue to express their desire to implement large-scale projects and initiatives on the island, positioning us alongside leading countries on the global economic stage.

Economic Growth: Ambassadori Batumi Island has officially presented research from Colliers' London and Tbilisi offices to the Georgian government, which indicates that the Batumi Two Peninsulas/One Island project will generate $64,000,000 in annual tax revenue, significantly improving Georgia's economic landscape.

New Jobs: According to research commissioned by the company from an international economic firm, the project will create at least 7,000 jobs for Georgian citizens, offering a great opportunity for residents and a chance for migrants to return to the country.

Modern Infrastructure: The two peninsulas/one island of Batumi will feature high-class hotels, apartments, shopping centers, educational and medical facilities. Alongside the new yacht club, a 9-hectare forest park will also be developed, offering the public access to a 3.6-kilometer coastal strip. Public spaces will ensure free access for local residents.

Environmental Responsibility Commitment: Ambassadori Batumi Island remains committed to maintaining full transparency and adhering to environmental standards throughout the project's implementation. The company is ready to follow all instructions provided in the National Environmental Agency's report.

On behalf of Ambassadori Batumi Island, we extend our special thanks to Georgian state institutions, international and local experts, for their support of the project and the deep and qualified comments made during the process, which have ultimately perfected the project, making it fundamentally reliable and safe.

In conclusion, Ambassadori Batumi Island is ahead of schedule in fulfilling its commitments to the state: a nearly 10-hectare artificial plot of land has already been created on the site, with landfilling work completed. From the fall of 2024, alongside additional land works on the island, the company plans to develop the first park and ultra-modern multifunctional buildings.
