According to Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia, 28 state-owned properties have been privatized in recent weeks. He announced this at the beginning of the government meeting.
"We have begun accelerated privatization in the last few months, which enabled us to raise assets that have not been involved in Georgia's economic life so far and in just a few weeks 28 properties have been sold, exceeding 45 million GEL," - said the Prime Minister.
Gakharia also highlighted several economic indicators.
"We have good numbers in terms of economic growth. Over the past 10 months, economic growth in Georgia has been over 5%, and we are optimistic about the data. We have good indexes in Q3 in terms of FDI, but we have to work more to show our country’s attractiveness to the partners.
We also have good data on the number of tourists - the figure has exceeded 9 million.
We can also say today that Georgia's winter resorts - Mestia, Gudauri, Goderdzi, Bakuriani, are ready to host our foreign guests, as well as tourists from Georgia", the Prime Minister said.
