External Merchandise Trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to USD 2 941.5 million in January-February 2024, 5% lower year-on-year, - according to the preliminary data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).
The value of export decreased by 12.2% reaching USD 803.2 million, while the imports decreased by 2% and amounted to USD 2 138.2 million.
The trade deficit equaled USD 1 335.0 million and its share in trade turnover constituted 45.4 percent.
