The founder of “re:school”, Salome Mgeladze, stated on BMGTV’s program “Business Week” that society must not take a single step back because there will be no other chance.
According to her, this is the final battle, and therefore, it is crucial for the voice of business to be heard more clearly in these processes.
“I believe we must not retreat even one step. This is the last battle. Everyone needs to understand that after this, there will be no elections at all. They will simply write down whatever numbers they want, as they do in Russia. That’s why I think the voice of business should be louder in these processes. We need to be more united, and we will definitely win. No one has ever won against the people, and when 200,000 of us stand together every night and protest, it is physically impossible to ignore this.
Every day, when I leave and say goodbye to my children, I don’t even know if I will come back. Everyone around me has been arrested, their homes invaded, and they have been physically assaulted. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a woman, a man, or a child. In this situation, it is no longer about political preferences or affiliations—it is about criminal offenses,” said Salome Mgeladze.
