The National Statistics Office of Georgia (NBG) published the inflation rate for February. In February, the annual inflation level amounted to 8.1% in the country, which was 1.3 percentage points less than the January inflation. Such a low rate of inflation has not been recorded in the country since June 2021.
According to Geostat, the price of onions increased by 118% in annual terms. The cheapest product is cabbage, which was 55% cheaper compared to the last year.
