According to data from the Armenian Tourism Committee, Armenia was visited by 237,603 tourists in July 2024, which is a 7% decrease compared to the same period last year, when 255,706 visits were recorded.
Russia remains a key source of tourists for Armenia, accounting for 42% of the total number of visitors in July. It is followed by Georgia (13%) and Iran (8%).
The downward trend is also observed over a broader time frame.
According to the Statistics Committee, in the first half of 2024, Armenia was visited by 946,162 foreign tourists, which is a 6.1% decrease compared to the same period in 2023, when 1,007,346 visits were recorded.
