We are working to mobilize additional hotels at this stage, - said the Deputy Minister of Health, Tamar Gabunia.
“Tourist flows are down from a number of countries and it gives us possibility to mobilize COVID-hotels. You know that the hotels have been an analogue of a field hospital for us, so we are working on it and we hope that there will be no need for more than that," Gabunia said.
According to him, there is no talk about field hospitals today.
"If the need arises, we know where there is a large space and it is possible to adapt it. However, a more acceptable model for us is the use of hotel infrastructure”, he added.
