Georgia continues to see strong growth in its tourism sector. According to the National Tourism Administration, the number of international tourist visits rose by 7% in the first six months of 2025 compared to the same period last year, reaching a total of 2,270,363 visits.
In the second quarter alone, 1,838,913 international tourist visits were recorded, also a 7% year-on-year increase.
Overall, during the first two quarters of 2025, Georgia welcomed 3,153,741 international tourist visits, reflecting a 4.4% increase from the same period in 2024.
The Tourism Administration has announced that a more detailed breakdown of the statistics for the first half of the year will be published later today.
