The trade turnover between Armenia and Russia in 2022 rose to about $5 billion, recording a 91.7% growth compared to 2021, according to an Armenian government report on the progress and results of its plan of actions designed for 2022.
"Armenia in 2022 continued to expand cooperation with Russia in political, economic, military, security and other areas," the report says.
It notes that Armenia's overall trade turnover with the Eurasian Economic Union member states in 2022 surged by 93% from the previous year to about $5.3 billion. Armenia’s overall foreign trade in 2022 grew to over $14.1 billion, ARKA reports.
