The entry of a globally recognized brand such as The Trump Organization into Georgia gives strong confidence in the country’s investment climate, according to Vasil Phkhakadze, CEO of Biograpi Living. He made the remarks during an appearance on Business Morning, highlighting the significance of the planned Trump Tower project in Tbilisi.
The Trump Organization plans to develop a 70-story multifunctional skyscraper in the Georgian capital, in partnership with local companies Archi and Biograpi Living. Phkhakadze said the involvement of such a major international brand reflects Georgia’s advancement to a new development stage, noting that companies of this scale typically enter only select markets. He added that this will be the first branded Trump residences in the region.
According to him, the project sends a strong signal to investors that Georgia is a safe environment for large-scale capital investment and business development. Phkhakadze also expressed confidence that the tower will become one of Tbilisi’s landmark buildings, contributing to tourism growth and broader economic development.
The project is being designed by the globally renowned architecture firm Gensler, with final details still under development, including building height, layout, and functionality. Once completed, the development is expected to include premium residences, retail spaces, and hotel infrastructure, and is projected to become the tallest structure in Tbilisi.
