TV Advertising Revenue in Georgia Reaches GEL 99 MLN in 2025 – ComCom

According to the Georgian Communications Commission (ComCom), total commercial advertising revenue for TV and radio broadcasters in 2025 increased by 37% compared to 2024, reaching GEL 106.8 million. TV advertising alone generated GEL 99.2 million, a 43% rise from the previous year.

Direct advertising accounted for 82% of TV ad revenue (around GEL 82 million), product placement contributed 11% (GEL 10.6 million), and sponsorships made up 7% (GEL 6.8 million). In contrast, radio broadcasters saw a 9% decline in ad revenue, totaling GEL 7.6 million.

In Q4 2025, combined TV and radio commercial revenue rose 72% year-on-year to GEL 41.4 million, with TV alone increasing 82.5% to GEL 39.2 million. Commercial revenue includes direct advertising, sponsorship, product placement, teleshopping, and commercial announcements.

ComCom noted that a detailed breakdown of individual TV broadcasters’ revenue will be released later.
