Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze announced that up to 60,000 students in public kindergartens across the capital will receive sweets and New Year gift sets this year. The announcement was made during a session of the Tbilisi Municipal Government.
According to Mayor Kaladze, the Tbilisi Kindergarten Management Agency has completed preparations for the traditional New Year gift project. “We try to introduce new items into the assortment every year. This year, up to 60,000 children in our kindergartens will receive updated sweets and gift sets during New Year’s events,” he said.
The gifts are provided for all children registered in Tbilisi kindergartens. Each gift box contains ten types of high-quality sweets and several toy sets made from environmentally friendly materials, all designed with a New Year theme.
Delivery of the gifts to kindergartens has already begun and is scheduled to be completed by December 15.
