Periodic repair works are underway on an 18 km section (km 66–km 84) of the Kutaisi–Alpana–Mamisoni Pass road, according to the Roads Department.
The project is funded by the state budget and costs up to GEL 13 million. Works are expected to be completed by the end of October 2026.
The project includes laying asphalt concrete pavement, arranging road connections, residential access points, drainage channels, and road signs, as well as applying road markings. Asphalt works are currently in progress.
