Valeri Chekheria and Levan Berulava have founded an international consulting company called Salt Projects.
Speaking on BMGTV, the founders discussed the company’s philosophy, operations, and ongoing projects.
“Our philosophy is, first and foremost, quality. With Salt Projects, we are continuing the work Levan and I have been doing in the hospitality industry for the past 15 years. We are a consulting company actively involved in every stage, from concept development to opening and even management, depending on the agreement with partners,” said Valeri Chekheria.
“We have been on the market for about a year and have already managed several projects in Georgia and internationally. However, we only take on as many projects as we can personally oversee,” he added.
According to Levan Berulava, Salt Projects prioritizes uniqueness over quantity:
“We do not accept mass production, because each project is very important to us, as it has been for the past 15 years. Uniqueness remains the core concept of Salt Projects,” said Berulava.
The founders revealed that the company currently has six ongoing projects in Georgia and abroad. All clients, they said, approached Salt Projects first.
“The projects found us. We choose who we will work with. For some, we provide consulting; for others, we act as managing partners,” Berulava noted.
Salt Projects is currently operating in the USA, Singapore, Italy, Armenia, and Georgia, with a combined project value of several hundred million USD.
Chekheria and Berulava emphasized that Salt Projects is built on the principles of trust, freedom, and creating distinctive, inspiring projects that appeal to both locals and international visitors.
