According to the National Statistics Service, in June 2025, the turnover of the Georgian private sector or VAT-paying enterprises amounted to 14.8 billion GEL, which was 8.7% more than in the same period of the previous year. For comparison, this figure was lower than in May, since the increase in VAT turnover in May was 13%.
During 2025, the growth rate of VAT turnover was highest in January - 14.7% and 13% - in May, and the lowest in February (8.7%) and June (8.7%).
The exact figures for June turnover by specific sectors are not yet public, although increases are recorded in the IT sector, manufacturing, the financial sector, logistics, and trade.
