Georgia’s exports increased by 20% year-on-year to $771 million in June, according to preliminary foreign trade data released by the National Statistics Office (Geostat). In value terms, exports were $131 million higher than in June 2025.
During the first half of 2026, Georgia’s total exports reached $3.9 billion, also marking a 20% annual increase.
Imports totaled $1.6 billion in June, up 7% year-on-year, or $112 million in value. In the first six months of 2026, imports amounted to $9 billion, a modest 0.7% increase compared to the same period last year.
Geostat will publish detailed foreign trade statistics on July 20, including a breakdown of exports and imports by commodity group.
