Demand for Villa Mosavali wines has increased, according to the company’s General Manager Nikoloz Shekhriladze, who told BM.GE that the winery has expanded its export footprint this year, including entry into new markets such as Norway.
He said the company currently exports mainly to Europe and the United States, with recent growth also coming from Germany. Villa Mosavali is now actively exploring opportunities in Asia and is working to establish communication with the Chinese market as a potential new destination for its wines.
The company, which manages vineyards across Kakheti, Kartli, and Imereti on around 110 hectares, has an annual production capacity of about 150,000 bottles. Despite growing demand, Shekhriladze said there are no plans to expand vineyards at this stage due to already abundant harvests, with excess grapes being sold as raw material.
Villa Mosavali officially began operations in 2018 and entered export markets more actively in 2021. The company continues to rely heavily on international sales, supported by both production capacity and ongoing marketing efforts aimed at strengthening brand visibility abroad.
