Galt & Taggart is preparing for regional expansion, according to Eva Bochorishvili, the investment bank’s Director of Research. Speaking on Business Weekly, she said the company’s 2026 plans include deepening analytical work, exploring new economic opportunities, expanding into neighboring regions, and hosting sector-focused conferences.
Bochorishvili noted that Galt & Taggart aims to extend its expertise beyond Georgia, targeting the economies of the Caucasus and Central Asia. Additionally, starting in the second half of 2026, the firm plans to organize conferences in high-potential sectors that have not yet been extensively analyzed.
She highlighted that the company has already held 11 conferences this year, including the country’s first in-depth agricultural conference and a widely discussed e-commerce study. According to her, Galt & Taggart publishes over 200 public reports annually, along with around 100 internal studies for clients and partners.
Bochorishvili emphasized that the firm often creates new data from scratch through company surveys, internal analytics, and real-time market monitoring. This approach, she said, gives their research unique value — such as monthly tracking of over 100 real estate projects in Tbilisi and quarterly analysis of the Batumi property market — helping businesses identify concrete opportunities and direction.
