Dala Events, a company developing a new format combining electronic music and mountain resorts, plans to expand its events at the Tetnuldi ski resort in Svaneti in 2027. The project, held at an altitude of 2,700 meters above sea level, aims to combine electronic music with the mountain environment and attract both local and international visitors.

Co-founder Demetre Tordia said the idea emerged during a trip to Svaneti in 2025. In 2026, the company organized five pilot events, which he said generated strong interest among both Georgian and foreign visitors. Following the response, the company began preparing for a larger-scale format in 2027, including expanding infrastructure and partnerships and seeking to bring international artists to Svaneti.

Tordia said the project has significant potential to attract international tourists because of the unique experience of listening to electronic music in an open-air mountain setting. He said the mountains and peaks themselves become part of the event’s scenery, making the format distinct from conventional electronic music events.

Attendance at the events is currently free, with the company generating revenue mainly from bar and food services. Tordia said the initial priority is to establish a high-quality format and grow the audience before developing a sustainable business model. Logistics remain one of the main challenges, as transporting equipment to the 2,700-meter site requires cable cars, tractors and specialized snow vehicles. The Mountain Resorts Development Agency is also supporting the project.
