Cafe-Bar "Otuna", located in Sachkhere, Imereti region talks about the labor force shortage, noting that it's even difficult to find unqualified staff.
Besik Guliashvili, founder of Cafe-Bar declares that they have been operating in the market for three years and offer customers both Georgian and European dishes.
"Labor force shortage is a challenge for us. It is even difficult to find unqualified staff, who have the desire to study and be employed for a certain time.
I understand it's a very time-consuming job, a lot of work, and young people want to have more perspectives. Therefore, every two to three months we change at least 2 people, especially waiters. As for prices, we have average prices for the capital city of Tbilisi, but relatively expensive for Sachkhere", - says Guliashvili.
According to him, the demand for their catering facility is very high. Their main guests are Georgians, and during the season, European guests also predominate in the facility. Since they were connected to the Racha road, the number of visitors increased by 20-25%.
As for the current year's plans, according to Guliashvili, a children's space should be set up this year, in which approximately GEL 40,000 should be invested.
Cafe-Bar "Otuna" in Sachkhere has been operating for three years and offers customers Georgian and European dishes. To fully equip the restaurant, they invested about GEL 200,000. The facility currently employs about 14 people.
