"Obviously, we cannot share the sentiments about the Christmas market, where people are being intimidated, chased and brutally beaten in front of our eyes. We believe that the supporters of Eski are with us in this decision because what unites us with them is precisely civic self-awareness and high social responsibility.
On our behalf, we would like to thank all the organizers of the Christmas market who made the decision to cancel it.
In this crucial period, any other decision is unthinkable. This year, instead of the Christmas market, we will stand on Rustaveli for the European future of our country," the statement reads.
