The multifunctional wine hub - "Sadzvele", located in Tbilisi on Petriashvili str, is experiencing a 20% decrease in activity. The company's director, Giorgi Samanishvili, spoke about this.
The multifunctional wine hub combines a wine school, a wine cellar, a wine bar, conference and tasting spaces. The facility currently employs 14 people.
According to the director of the facility, "Sadzvele" consists of three floors, of which 2 floors are wine cellars. Samanishvili adds that along with the increase in awareness, the demand for their facility is increasing, especially from foreigners who want to taste wine in the capitalcity of Tbilisi. However, the events taking place in the country have also been reflected in the reduced activity.
"The facility consists of three floors, of which 2 floors are wine cellars. On the -2nd floor there is now a theater, exhibition and cultural space. Therefore, we decided to dedicate the -1st floor to the wine school, a space for wine events, and soon a space for wine exhibitions will be built, the investment for which has not yet been calculated. Since this is an investment that does not bring much income, we will wait for the current situation in the country and become more active in the direction of events.
The space contains about 200 wines. Awareness is gradually growing and the number of customers is also increasing. The tasting space can accommodate about 80 people. And during events, it is possible to host several hundred people. As for the training space, the training space can accommodate 24 people.
The events taking place in the country have had a great impact on us. "We have a decrease in activity of about 20%, but given that we are newly opened and turnover was not high, the decrease is that we have not been able to grow as much as we had expected," says the director of the multifunctional wine hub "Sadzvele".
