According to the decision of Inter-Agency Coordination Council, the curfew will be lifted from July 1. As of the Inter-Agency Coordination Council, restaurants and café-bars will operate before 24:00. Representatives of the sector declare that their expectations have failed, as they still cannot not work with a full load.

This circumstance is most severely perceived by the bars, as the business earns a basic income during the night hours.

According to Nikoloz Mameishvili, the founder of bar "Meoba", it is still difficult to talk about profit, because this industry works for survival. As Mameishvili notes, restaurants, bars and cafes lose their major income due to the limited working hours.

“We finish each month with a loss. The sector has obligations towards the tenants, as well as banks and employees. Consequently, the matter does not concern to any profit, we are talking about survival again. We lose 70% of our income due to the limited working hours. We still work with a load of 30%. The fact is, they do not take into account the challenges and problems of our field. I have two options, either they just do not know what they are doing or they deliberately destroy our sector," said Nikoloz Mameishvili, the founder of Bar Meoba.
