Health expert Andria Urushadze declares, that taking COVID-19 shots should become mandatory and various members of society should be involved in it.
"In general, any medical intervention, including vaccination, is better to be voluntary. But there are examples, including in European countries, where it has become mandatory for specific groups. This is a topic we need to start discussing. Groups that oppose vaccination should also be involved. I mean first of the church and its community. Such decisions should be widely discussed," he said.
The Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze states that mandatory vaccination is not considered at this stage, although it is possible that this decision will be changed.
