Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze declares, that the ministry already works on free school meals and Unicef will be also engaged in the process.
According to Tikaradze, they are working on free school meals for the last two years.
"Introducing a healthy lifestyle is a priority for us. Healthy eating is one of the main factors that contribute to human health. Proper development of children at an early age is important and this project is being considered by the Ministry of Health.
We will work intensively with both the Ministry of Education and Unicef. The project is written in detail both in the food menu and in the financial part. We started working on it two years ago and it has already been discussed, ”Tikaradze said.
