A contractor company completed rehabilitation of Kikvidze Garden 4 months later. Shota Baghatuaria, the head company "Inshaat Georgia" told BM.GE about it.
The company started to work on the site in April 2019, according to the contract, it was supposed to complet the works on November 30, 2019. However, the works under the contract were finished only in April 2020 with a delay of 4 months. Today, the Tbilisi City Hall's Environmental Protection Service says that they will not recommend "Inshaat Georgia".
"Of course, we will not recommend this company in case of participation in other state procurements. If it is similar and we are asked to participate in another tender, of course, we will not be able to give a positive recommendation to such a company, which has performed the work for so long”, said Giga Gigashvili, head of the Tbilisi City Hall's Environmental Protection Service.
To note: "Kikvidze Garden" is not the only project for which the deadlines are violated. If we look at the tender history of Inshaat Georgia, the company also had problems with the mayor of Gori municipality, where the company was responsible for the construction of the kindergarten. The contract was terminated here as well, however, the company still participated in many state procurements.
