We Wish To Have Tangible Results In Partnership With US - PM

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Thursday said the country’s Government wanted its strategic partnership with the United States to yield “concrete and tangible results”.

In his comments to the media, Kobakhidze named deepening of trade relations as an example of the outcomes, and said a free trade agreement would be “very important” for the purpose.

He also said introduction of visa-free travel and direct flights between the countries were also objectives his team wished to see materialise.

The PM told reporters “any advancement” in the directions would provide a “tangible example of benefits” of the partnership for citizens.
