Irakli Khmaladze stepped down from his position as Deputy Minister of Justice of the Georgian Dream government earlier this month, reportedly based on a personal application. Khmaladze had been appointed to the role in May 2025, after serving as First Deputy Mayor of Tbilisi and holding leading positions in the city’s government since 2017.
According to his latest asset declaration, submitted in May 2025, Khmaladze’s holdings include:
- Non-residential premises on Kipiani Street in Tbilisi, of which he owns 50%, purchased for GELO 1,000 in 2017.
- A Harley-Davidson motorcycle, purchased in 2024 for USD 16,500.
- A bank deposit of USD 350,000, reportedly funded from the sale of property.
- A salary of GEL 73,547, received in 2023 while serving as Deputy Mayor of Tbilisi.
The declaration shows that Khmaladze does not own any other real estate or movable property.
