In January-April 2021, Georgia's exports amounted to $ 1.2 billion, which is 19.6% more than in the same period of 2020. This year, Georgia's exports to the EU amounted to $ 276 million, 55% more than in 2020. With this indicator, the EU accounted for 23% of Georgia's total exports.

According to the Geostat report, a significant part of Georgia's exports to the EU is raw materials - among them copper ores, industrially processed in the EU. Nuts take second place in the export rating, and nitrogen fertilizers are in third place.

Georgia's ten largest exports to the EU (January-April data):

1) Ores and concentrates of copper - $ 97.9 million, 46,982 tons, a decrease of -9% over the previous year
2) Nuts - $ 18.4 million, 2,929 tons, an increase of 50% over the previous year
3) Nitrogen fertilizers - $ 13.6 million, 73,110 tons, an increase of 54% over the previous year
4) Waste and a scrap of precious metals - $ 9.6 million, 61 tons, an increase of 225% over the previous year
5) Natural grape wines - $ 8.1 million, 2,436 tons, an increase of 16% over the previous year
6) Alcoholic beverages and ethyl alcohol - $ 7.9 million, 2,558 tons, an increase of 115% over the previous year
7) Wood products - $ 6.5 million, 2,413 tons, an increase of 95% over the previous year
8) Mineral and freshwater - $ 5.6 million, 8,628 tons, decrease by -8% over the previous year
9) Cars - $ 4.8 million, an increase of 32% over the previous year
10) Ferroalloys - $ 3.7 million, 3,595 tons, a decrease of -9% over the previous year
