Vladimer Khundadze, former deputy head of Georgia’s Revenue Service, who was convicted of abuse of official powers and sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison, filed his asset declaration from prison. The declaration, submitted in July, covers his income and assets for 2025.

Khundadze listed only two vehicles registered in his wife Khatuna Pkhaladze’s name: a Toyota RAV4 purchased for $11,500 in 2021 and a 2022 Lexus NX 250 AWD purchased for $22,200 in 2024. No apartments or other real estate are listed in the declaration.

Pkhaladze reported $10,000 in cash savings and GEL 76,500 in salary income from Geo Nutrition, Fintry International, Sopharma’s representative office in Georgia and Georgian Post. Khundadze received GEL 54,132 in salary during the first six months of 2025, before being removed from office.

Pkhaladze also reported a GEL 12,350 three-year loan from a microfinance organization, $12,000 received from the installment sale of property in Mukhattskaro for $120,000, and gifts of GEL 5,000 from a family member and GEL 12,000 from a friend. Her expenses included €6,800 for her child’s education and GEL 8,700 for airline tickets. Criminal proceedings against Khundadze began in October 2025; he was initially charged in absentia and later surrendered to investigators in January.
