What Property Does New Deputy Minister of Justice Lana Morgoshia Own?

Lana Morgoshia has been appointed as the fifth Deputy Minister of Justice in the Georgian Dream government. Before this appointment, she served as the Head of the Administration of the Ministry of Justice. A lawyer by profession, Morgoshia has 12 years of experience working within the Ministry.

According to her latest asset declaration, submitted in December 2024, Morgoshia did not list any real estate or movable property under her own name. At the time, she was serving as Deputy Head of the Ministry’s Analytical Department and reported a bank deposit of 24,194 GEL.

The declaration shows that her husband, Avtandil Tsintsadze, owns two land plots: a 600 sq.m. plot in the village of Akhatani, Dusheti Municipality, purchased in 2021 for GEL 15,850, and a 7,600 sq.m. plot in Teleti, Gardabani Municipality, bought in 2014 for USD 1,500. Tsintsadze also owns two vehicles - a 2019 Toyota Camry valued at GEL 30,000 and a 2020 Audi Q8 worth GEL 70,000, both purchased in 2024.

In terms of income, Tsintsadze received 46,696 GEL in 2023 for his position as Deputy Chairman of the Georgian Dream faction in the Tbilisi City Council. During the same period, Morgoshia earned 52,323 GEL as Deputy Head of the Analytical Department and an additional 4,518 GEL as an invited trainer at the Justice Training Center.
