Giorgi Margvelshvili, founder of “Tbilvino” declares, that several years ago, the company decided to focus on the quality and make wine, which price will be above average. According to him, the cost of their premium quality wine starts from USD 20 and goes up to USD 100.
“Tbilvino” presented a collection of premium concept wines in early October. The collection includes 8 types of wines - Mtsvane Single Vineyard, Saperavi Twin Vineyards, Qvevris Kisi, Qvevris Saperavi, Saperavi Single Vineyard, Aleksandrouli Single Vineyard, Plot #3. The premium line was created with the inspiration of the Georgian endemic wine variety Saperavi and unique Qvevri wines.
Giorgi Margvelashvili told BMG that he had been working on the collection of Georgian premium wines for 4 years at the company.
“We created premium wines with the vision that these wines, would bring recognition to Georgian grape varieties, especially Saperavi and Qvevri-type wines, establish a worthy place in the TOP-10 importing countries, and fully realize the potential of Georgian wine as a whole,” Giorgi Margvelashvili noted.
The premium wines of “Tbilvino” have left the homeland and the company exports the wine to the UK. These wines will soon appear in Korea, Canada and the USA.
