Why Did Garibashvili Have A Bad Result For The First Time?! - Financier

პრემიერი

Financier Giga Bedineishvili declares that high economic growth in the last three years is not the merit of Irakli Garibashvili's correct economic policy. According to him, the post-pandemic period and the Russia-Ukraine war shaped the growth. According to local and international analysts, it had a "positive shock" on Georgia.

The financier told BMGTV while evaluating the prime ministership of Irakli Garibashvili.

"If we take the growth rate of the economy as a measure of Irakli Garibashvili's activity, which is the only correct measuring tool, we have high economic growth in the last three years, but if this is the merit of Garibashvili's good work, why did he have a bad result in 2013-2015, when he was the Prime Minister for the first time?! It's illogical, isn't it?! Thus, the conclusion directly follows that Irakli Garibashvili was not a factor of high economic growth between 2021-2023, because during the first time of the Prime Ministership of the same Irakli Garibashvili, we had a low result in economic growth", said Giga Bedineishvili.

Irakli Gharibashvili was Prime Minister between 2013-2015 and 2021-2024.

The rate of economic growth by years:

In 2022, a double-digit growth of 10.4% was recorded;
