Wine company Badagoni starts construction of luxury hotel in Akhmeta municipality, Kakheti.
According to the wine company, the complex will start operating in August 2023 and will host up to 10 thousand visitors, both international and local, during the year.
The investment cost of the project is GEL 14 million. The hotel will employ 80 people, most of whom will be locals. The concept of the hotel belongs to the architect Zviad Surguladze.
The hotel infrastructure includes a swimming pool, bars and restaurant. It is main tourist attraction is the St. George Monastery Complex in Alaverdi, located 200 meters away, on the territory of which is one of the oldest functioning pitcher wine cellars in the world and the Museum of Antiquities.
