The leadership of Armenia's Ministry of High-Tech Industry held a meeting with representatives of the World Bank (WB) mission, led by Michel Rojin. The discussion also included Carolin Geginat, head of the World Bank’s Armenia office.
According to First Deputy Minister Gevorg Mantashyan, the ministry and the World Bank have established an effective partnership with promising potential for further development and expansion.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of topics, including the World Bank's regional initiatives in digitalization, broadband connectivity, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. Special attention was given to the bank’s investment programs aimed at promoting inclusive economic growth.
A significant part of the agenda focused on exploring potential cooperation in the development of broadband infrastructure in Armenia.
