The yellow level of security will be in effect in the Parliament Palace of Georgia today.
Accredited journalists of TV channels will be allowed in the building, while representatives of other media outlets, including InterPressNews, will not be able to enter the building.
“In accordance with the order of the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia of September 4 "On the approval of the rules for security protection in the Georgian Parliament Palace", on April 16 of this year, the yellow level of security will be in effect in the Georgian Parliament Palace - visitors are restricted from entering the Parliament Palace. Only persons invited by the relevant structural units will be admitted to the meetings.
The restriction does not apply to accredited journalists of TV channels. The aim of the mentioned measure is to provide a safe and working environment in the Georgian Parliament Palace," reads the statement.
