Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan announced on his Facebook page an important meeting with Joerg Mommertz, the CEO of MAN Truck & Bus for the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and CIS region, along with the company's representative in Armenia.
During the discussion, they addressed issues related to the improvement of the city's transportation system.
Avinyan mentioned that MAN agreed to provide consultancy services for the final stage of developing Yerevan's transport network. This cooperation aims to modernize and optimize public transportation in the city.
Earlier, the Yerevan Municipality purchased 87 German MAN buses (12 meters in length) as part of the city's public transportation reform program.
