New terminal of Kutaisi airport will start functioning in 2019
After completion of construction, the renewed terminal of Kutaisi airport will be capable of serving 6 airplanes in the peak-hours, - stated Keti Aleksidze, director of United Airports of Georgia in Sakmis Kursi TV show. “This will be a terminal under the same roof, which will make travelling more comfortable for our passenhers. Presently, we are completing construction of the the zero floor and in 2019 we will start the phase of joining the terminals. As from the next summer season , we will be able to serve passengers in the renewed terminal,” – said Keti Aleksidze. The new terminal of Kutaisi Airport will be three times as big as the current one. Over 50 mln will be spent for its construction.
