According to preliminary data of the National Tourism Administration, income from international travel totaled to 2.8 billion USD in January-October, 2019 in Georgia. The figure is 25 million more comparing to the same period of the previous year. Respectively, the increase is + 0.9%.

According to preliminary data, Georgia received revenue of 267 million USD from the international tourism (+ 5.2%) in October, up 13 million y-o-y.

Note: according to official data for 2019, revenues from international travel amount to 877 million USD in Q2 in Georgia (increase + 8.4%), the figure is 68 million USD more comparing to the same period of the previous year.
However, according to official data for 2019, revenue from international travel has made up 1.5 billion USD in Q1- Q2(growth + 7%), which is 95 million USD is higher than in the previous year.

According to Q1-Q2 of 2019, the share of tourism in GDP was 7.7%. The increase is + 19.7% compared to the previous year.
