Georgia Received USD 3.3 BLN From International Tourism

The National Tourism Administration reports, that in the I-III quarter of 2023, the income from tourism exceeded the figure of 2019 and reached a record figure - 3,251,651,900 US dollars, which is +25.9% higher than the results of the same period of 2019 (+668,812,328 USD).

As noted by the National Tourism Administration, compared to 2022, tourism revenues have increased by +734,468,385 (+29.2%) US dollars.

“In Q3 2023, tourism revenue exceeded 2019 and reached US$1,447,121,966. dollars, which is a +28.4% increase compared to the same indicator of 2019, and compared to the third quarter of 2022, tourism revenues have increased by +72,468,664 (+5.3%) USD", reads the information released by the National Tourism Administration.

Visitors Spending By Countries:

1. Russian Federation - USD 767 million, an increase of 36% compared to the previous year;
2. Turkey - USD 484 million, an increase of 105% compared to the previous year;
3. European Union - USD 427 million, an increase of 64% compared to the previous year;
4. Israel - USD 258 million, an increase of 28% compared to the previous year;
5. Ukraine - USD 147 million, a decrease of 27% compared to the previous year;
6. Armenia - USD 124 million, an increase of 11% compared to the previous year;
7. Azerbaijan - USD 103 million, an increase of 43% compared to the previous year;
8. Iran - USD 99 million, an increase of 37% compared to the previous year;
9. Saudi Arabia - USD 89 million, a decrease of 40% compared to the previous year;
10. Belarus - USD 85 million, a decrease of 60% compared to the previous year.
