We are officially submitting the GOG Vision 2030 – Development Strategy of Georgia to the Executive Government Meeting today and the Government of Georgia (GOG) will be approving the document, which will be made available in a few days. It was announced by Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia at the Executive Government Meeting today.
According to the Prime Minister of Georgia, the document is based on a common aspiration of people towards building a strong democratic state.
“First agenda item that I wish to talk about is our promise made last year. It is an initiative related to a long-term development strategy of Georgia through 2030. It is our vision which elaborates on practically all the directions of development in our country. Each government agency came up with their own development strategy, vision and plans. Now we are officially submitting the GOG Vision 2030 – Development Strategy of Georgia to the Executive Government Meeting. This document is based on a common aspiration of people towards building a strong democratic state. It is a country that implies sustainable and inclusive economic development. It is a set of our common goals – social equality, quality healthcare and education, eco-clean and healthy environment, boosted democracy, security and stability. All of these are elaborated in this document. I wish to express gratitude to every institution for their active work. We already had these documents ready last year, but each of them got polished and updated afterwards and the final one is submitted today. The Government of Georgia will approve it and the document will be made available in a few days” noted the Prime Minister of Georgia.
