The soon to be ex-head of the Georgian National Tourism Administration, Mariam Kvirivshvili, identified the achievements of the Administration under her management.
"As for the achievements, I'd say: 1) diversification of source markets 2) Changed marketing strategy, which means more detail-oriented approach and data analytic based marketing campaigns 3) ITB Berlin - Georgia, winning the status of the host country at the world's leading travel trade show 4) Partnership with the private sector and decisions which were based on private sector feedback 5) Institutional reforms - in a sense, not reforms but an institutional strengthening of the Georgian National Tourism Administration that allowed us to do things that were hypothetically not part of our written mandate," - she said.
Kvrivishvili hopes to report to the society and the business community by summarizing her performance of 1 year and 7 months at the GNTA.
